Using the app, the map can be used to check where the robot vacuum cleaner is at that particular moment, as well as where it has already cleaned.

The new Miele Scout app3now supports even more operating functions for your robot vacuum cleaner. Would you prefer only to clean a specific area of your home like the kitchen, for example? Simply select this as a preference in the app. You can even block selected zones like carpets, for example. Your Scout RX3 will then avoid them during its cleaning programme.

Cleverly networked: with Miele innovative Miele@home system4, you can exploit the full potential of your Miele appliances and make your everyday life even smarter. All intelligent Miele domestic appliances can be networked conveniently and securely. Operation is simple – whether you use the Miele app, voice control or integration into existing Smart Home solutions. The appliances are networked via a home WiFi router and the Miele Cloud.

Start time Freely Programmable: Timer

With the Scout you can programme the floor cleaning times individually. You can have it work, for instance, when you are not even at home. The Scout will begin cleaning at the selected time. The appliance then returns to the charging station on its own to recharge the battery. So feel free to go out while the Scout cleans your home.

Control the Robot Vacuum Cleaner Manually: Remote Control

Would you like to use the Scout in a different way to its automatic programmes? No problem – with the remote control provided, you can also operate the robot vacuum cleaner yourself. With simple commands the Scout can be guided directly to certain areas, which it then cleans thoroughly.

The suction system with its four special features guarantees a first-class cleaning performance. 1. Sweeping side brushes trap coarse dirt in the area under the appliance. 2. Two front cameras give the Scout RX3 high-precision, three-dimensional object recognition. It measures the distances to potential obstructions automatically and navigates safely around them. Recharges Itself: Non-stop for 170 min5

Thanks to a powerful lithium-ion battery, the Scout runs for longer on a single battery charge. If the battery charge is not sufficient, the Scout returns to the charging station for recharging. It will then continue cleaning from the location where it had stopped – fully automatically.

7 optical sensors at the front of the Scout robot vacuum cleaner recognise furniture and other obstacles in its path. The Scout approaches these objects carefully in order to clean the floor directly in front of them. Collisions are reliably avoided. An additional 3 sensors underneath the appliance recognise steps in the floor in time and prevent the Scout from falling down stairs.
